The Outward Bound Trust
Volkswagen Group has formed partnership with The Outward Bound Trust to develop our apprentices with the key concepts of collaboration, teamwork, and customer service.
During the Outward Bound experience, a week-long residential program, apprentices engage in various tasks aimed at developing behaviours aligned with the customer-centric approach of the Volkswagen Group. Throughout the week, the learners focus on building confidence, honing multitasking abilities, fostering collaboration, and enhancing problem-solving skills, all of which contribute to improving customer satisfaction at work. Analysis of the program's impact has revealed that 85% of apprentices have increased their customer awareness, while over 95% have seen improvements in their self-confidence and teamwork capabilities.
