How It Works
The Škoda Advanced Apprenticeship Programme is designed to train and develop apprentices in a way that enables them to keep pace with advancing technology and high levels of customer service.
The comprehensive, three-year Programme provides apprentices with an exciting and challenging opportunity to achieve formal qualifications through extensive product training, while in full-time employment.
On completing the course, apprentices will gain a NVQ Level 3, an IMI Technical Certificate, an Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate and Key and Core Skills Certificates relevant to their specialist area.
Škoda has approved the Advanced Apprenticeship Programme structure and will provide vehicles, training rigs, tools and materials to ensure the apprenticeship is relevant to the marque.
Training at the Volkswagen Group Apprentice Training Centre is residential and delivered in one-week blocks throughout the Programme.
In addition, Škoda's own special technical trainers will deliver product specific courses, keeping apprentices up-to-date with Škoda's latest technology.
